Terms and Conditions of Sale and Stay
These terms and conditions of sale and stay apply to stays, options, gift vouchers and, from its opening date, the free La Clé Privilège programme offered by La Clé des Granges.
1. Purpose
These terms and conditions define the booking, payment, occupancy and cancellation conditions applicable to stays booked with La Clé des Granges.
The services are provided by LA CLE DES GRANGES, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with share capital of €40,000, whose registered office is located at 27 route du Chêne Monsieur, 78270 Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer, France, registered under number 887 736 833 RCS Versailles, SIRET 887 736 833 00013, intra-community VAT number FR45887736833.
2. Characteristics of the stay
The essential characteristics of the stay, the accommodation booked, the selected dates, any options selected and the total price including taxes are shown during the booking process and in the confirmation e-mail sent to the Client.
Unless otherwise stated, the price includes:
- provision of the booked accommodation for the agreed duration;
- bed linen, towels and bathrobes;
- cleaning before arrival and after departure;
- breakfast;
- charges relating to the stay.
Options, drinks, meals, massages and special attentions are included only when they have been selected and paid for, or confirmed as part of the booking.
3. Booking
The booking is concluded after payment has been validated according to the applicable terms and the confirmation e-mail has been sent by the Host or its booking system.
The accommodation booked is the one mentioned in the confirmation e-mail.
The accommodation is intended exclusively for the stay of a maximum of two adults. No minor child or additional person may be accommodated, except with the Host’s express written agreement.
Any subletting, provision to a third party or use of the accommodation that does not comply with its intended purpose is strictly prohibited.
4. Prices and payment
The applicable price is the price displayed at the time of booking or ordering. Prices are indicated in euros, including all taxes.
Unless specific provisions state otherwise, payment for the stay and the selected options is made in full at the time of booking, by bank card through the booking process available from lacledesgranges.com.
The specific terms applicable to ANCV holiday vouchers are specified during the relevant process and in the article relating to cancellation.
5. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for accommodation services to be provided on a specific date or during a specific period. A dated stay booking is therefore not subject to the 14-day withdrawal period.
However, when a gift voucher is purchased remotely without an immediate booking for a stay on a specific date, the purchaser benefits from the right of withdrawal provided for by Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, provided that the gift voucher has not been used.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the conclusion of the contract. The purchaser may exercise this right by sending an unambiguous statement by e-mail to contact@lacledesgranges.com or by post to LA CLE DES GRANGES, 27 route du Chêne Monsieur, 78270 Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer, France.
In the event of a valid withdrawal, the sums received for the relevant gift voucher are refunded no later than 14 days after receipt of the withdrawal decision, in accordance with the applicable legal rules.
The form below applies only to a purchase giving rise to a right of withdrawal, in particular an unused gift voucher. It does not apply to a stay booking already set for a specific date or period.

It is strictly prohibited:
- to smoke (cigarette, cigar, shisha) or vape in the suite;

9. Sauna, whirlpool bath and equipment
The Client uses the equipment, in particular the sauna and whirlpool bath, under their own responsibility.
It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that their state of health is compatible with use of this equipment. In case of doubt, the Client should seek advice from a healthcare professional.
Use of the sauna is not recommended for persons with certain medical vulnerabilities, including cardiovascular disorders, unstable hypertension or pregnancy, unless contrary medical advice is given.
The instructions for use made available in the accommodation and/or in the digital welcome booklet must be followed.
10. Condition of the premises
The Client is invited to report without delay any anomaly, damage or non-conformity noted upon arrival.
If no report is made within a reasonable period after entering the premises, the accommodation and its equipment will be deemed to have been made available in good apparent condition.
11. Cleaning
End-of-stay cleaning is included in the price.
However, the accommodation must be returned in a normal and reasonable state of use. In the event of abnormal dirtiness or a condition requiring significant additional intervention, additional cleaning fees may be charged on the basis of €35 per hour.

Payment is final from the time of booking, subject to the cancellation conditions below.
The Client may request a postponement of the stay, subject to acceptance by the Host, if the request is made at least 15 days before the originally scheduled arrival date.
In the event of cancellation by the Client:
- more than 30 days before the arrival date: refund of 100% of the amount paid, less €31 non-refundable administration fees (bank processing fees and administrative handling of the file);
- between 30 days and more than 15 days before the arrival date: refund of 50% of the amount paid;
- 15 days or less before the arrival date: no refund.
Payments made using ANCV holiday vouchers cannot be refunded in cash. When a refund is due under these terms, processing methods compatible with ANCV rules are offered to the Client.
Any request for cancellation or postponement must be made in writing.
14. Cancellation by the Host
In the event of force majeure, exceptional circumstances, inability to perform the booking or a legitimate reason beyond the Host’s control, the Host may cancel the stay.
In this case, the sums paid for the booking will be refunded in full, without any additional compensation.
15. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are payable in full at the time of ordering. They are nominative and valid for 2 years from their date of issue.
The beneficiary receives a unique code allowing them to book a stay according to availability and the pricing conditions applicable at the time the gift voucher is used.
After expiry of the legal withdrawal period applicable to a distance purchase, or after use of the gift voucher, it cannot be refunded, exchanged for cash or give rise to restitution of its residual value, unless required by law.
When a booking is made using a gift voucher, the security deposit pre-authorisation and the stay occupancy conditions remain applicable.
16. Sale of wines and champagnes
LA CLE DES GRANGES may offer, among its options, wines and champagnes ordered online and prepared in the suite before the Client’s arrival. This sale is carried out under its takeaway alcohol licence.
Ordering and provision of alcoholic beverages are strictly reserved for persons aged 18 or over. By ordering an alcoholic beverage, the Client certifies that they are of legal age. The Host may require proof that the Client is of legal age and refuse to provide the beverage in the absence of such proof.
The sale of alcoholic beverages to minors is prohibited. The person delivering the beverage requires the customer to prove that they are of legal age.
Alcohol abuse is harmful to your health. Please drink responsibly.
17. Free La Clé Privilège programme
The free La Clé Privilège programme comes into effect on 30 June 2026. It is intended to thank clients who return to stay directly at La Clé des Granges.
Voluntary registration
Registration for the programme is never automatic. It results from a voluntary request by the Client, notably during a direct booking when this option is offered, or by direct contact with La Clé des Granges.
Eligible stays and tier calculation
Only stays booked directly with La Clé des Granges are eligible. Stays booked through a third-party platform are excluded, whatever their date, including for the history used to calculate tiers.
The calculation is based on a rolling 5-year window: for each new eligible stay, the couple’s direct stays completed during the five years preceding that stay are taken into account.
Direct stays completed before 30 June 2026 may be taken into account to determine the tier reached during a new eligible stay completed from that date. No gift, benefit or refund is due retroactively for a previous stay or a tier already reached before the programme comes into effect.
Planned benefits
- on the 2nd eligible stay: an artisanal candle;
- on the 3rd eligible stay: a complimentary bottle of champagne, exclusively for adult clients and subject to Article 16;
- on the 4th eligible stay: early arrival or late departure, subject to availability;
- from the 5th eligible stay: a 10% discount on nights booked directly, excluding options.
If a gift or material benefit is unavailable, La Clé des Granges may replace it with an attention or benefit of equivalent value.
Linking the couple’s stays
The programme is designed for the couple. Linking stays is based primarily on the phone number(s) provided at registration or during bookings. Providing a second number is not mandatory. A stay booked with a second number can only be linked to the couple after that number has been confirmed.
Changes to or end of the programme
As the programme is free, La Clé des Granges may modify its terms or end it for the future, notably if its management or maintenance becomes too complex. A change does not deprive the Client of a benefit already confirmed in writing for a booked stay.
Registration for the programme does not automatically imply subscription to a newsletter or consent to receive commercial communications. Any consent of this nature is collected separately when necessary.
18. Insurance and liability
The Client is responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their personal belongings or any persons they irregularly bring onto the premises.
The Client declares that they are covered by civil liability insurance.
The Host cannot be held liable for loss, theft or forgotten personal items in the accommodation or on the site, except in the event of proven fault on its part.
The Host cannot be held liable for damage resulting from misuse of equipment or use that does not comply with the instructions given.
19. Personal data
Personal data collected as part of the booking and stay are processed in accordance with the privacy policy available on the website.
For more information, the Client is invited to consult:
20. Intellectual property
All elements present on the Host’s website, including texts, photographs, videos, images, logos, graphic charters and content, are protected by intellectual property law.
Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or distribution, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is prohibited.
Photographs or videos taken by the Client in the accommodation may not be publicly distributed for commercial or promotional purposes without the Host’s prior agreement.
21. Complaints and mediation
Any complaint must be sent in writing to contact@lacledesgranges.com or by post to LA CLE DES GRANGES, 27 route du Chêne Monsieur, 78270 Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer, France.
If this prior written complaint is unsuccessful, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the mediator indicated below, within one year from the written complaint, subject to the legal admissibility conditions.
